| Obverse description | Central intaglio vignette of a female bust in profile facing left, wearing a Liberty cap, set within an ornate oval frame with fine guilloche underprint in green and red. The bank title BANQUE DE L'INDO-CHINE appears across the top, with the denomination 500 rendered in large numerals to either side of the vignette. Bilingual denomination legend in Cyrillic (ПЯТЬСОТЬ РУБЛЕЙ) and French (CINQ CENTS ROUBLES) runs along the lower portion, with date and place inscriptions in both Russian and French reading Vladivostok, 12 February 1919. |
