| Obverse description | Elaborate letterpress design in blue-grey tones with ornate guilloche borders and foliate corner vignettes. The Imperial double-headed eagle arms appear at upper centre within a wreath cartouche, flanked by the denomination numeral 500 at each upper corner and the date 1915 in side panels. The central field carries Cyrillic inscriptions for the State Treasury bill denomination ПЯТЬСОТЪ РУБЛЕЙ, with manuscript signatures and a serial number below, and a banner at foot noting the note's validity date of 1 February 1929 alongside a 4% interest notation. |
