| Obverse description | Printed in rose-pink on plain paper, the obverse presents a central guilloche rosette underprint over which the mandate text is typeset in black ink. The heading reads 'BMANDAT P.M.R.' followed by 'KAS NEGARA DI BENGKOELOE / DIPERINTAHKAN' and the denomination in large bold letterpress type 'LIMA RATOES ROEPIAH'.
