| Opis rewersu | Central design features the crowned Royal Arms of Portugal within an ornate cartouche, flanked by two rampant lions as supporters. Two crossed cannons with cannonballs appear in the lower field, evoking the military theme of the Peninsular War centenary. The dates 1808 and 1814 flank a cross at the top of the shield, commemorating the span of the conflict.
