(Translation: Fuad the first King of Egypt)
Reverse description Central field dominated by a bold calligraphic thughra-style Arabic inscription reading 'Al-Mamlaka Al-Masriyya' (The Egyptian Kingdom), enclosed within an inner circle and surrounded by a ring of six-pointed stars evenly spaced around the annulus. The denomination '٥٠٠ غرش' (500 Qirsh) appears in the upper field above the inner circle, and the dual dates '١٩٢٢' (Gregorian) and '١٣٤٠' (Hijri) flank the lower portion of the design. A dentilated border encircles the entire reverse.
