Obverse description Intaglio vignette of the Damascus Opera House occupies the right portion of the note, rendered in fine architectural detail against a light blue guilloche underprint. At upper centre, the issuer's name in Arabic script appears alongside two manuscript facsimile signatures and the dual Hijri/Gregorian date. A multicoloured geometric star ornament in traditional Islamic style is positioned at centre-left, accompanied by an optically variable gold numeral element at lower left and large Arabic denomination numerals at lower right.

Reverse description The central vignette reproduces an ancient mosaic scene of robed musicians playing lyres and other instruments, identified by the inscription 'Oldest Musical Note' in both English and Arabic, referencing the world's earliest known musical notation. Overlaid at lower centre is a vignette of a cuneiform clay tablet, underscoring Syria's ancient cultural heritage. The right margin carries an intricate blue arabesque border panel with a repeated multicoloured geometric star medallion and two gold square ornamental devices.
