Commenti	The horizontal bar overprint on this note identifies it as part of the BSP's response to a specific distribution problem during the COVID-19 pandemic: notes returned from quarantine zones were marked and segregated rather than immediately destroyed, a precaution against surface transmission that the WHO later assessed as largely unnecessary. The bars effectively created an unofficial sub-series within normal circulation stock. Abacá fiber has been a component of Philippine banknote paper since the 1990s — the plant is native to the archipelago and the Philippines remains its dominant global supplier.
