The "Seal type 4" designation marks a shift in the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas's official seal as it appeared on the note series, a bureaucratic change that generated multiple signature combinations within a relatively short print run. Three distinct pairings appear across this issue — Aquino/Fernandez, Aquino/Cuisia, and Ramos/Cuisia — reflecting the presidential transition of 1992 and the concurrent change in BSP governorship under José Cuisia Jr.

Printed entirely in-house at the Security Plant Complex, this note is one of the earlier high-denomination outputs produced domestically without foreign contract printing.
