The large red numeral 500 appears to the right of centre against a pale guilloche underprint, with the bank title BANQUE DE L'INDOCHINE in bold letterpress across the top and CINQ CENTS PIASTRES along the lower margin. Three facsimile signature panels for the Inspecteur Général, the Directeur de la Succursale de Saïgon, and the Caissier are printed to the left of the vignette, with the designer and printer credits at the lower corners.
