| Description du revers | Entirely engraved in red, the reverse is dominated by the Cuban coat of arms at center within an ornate guilloche medallion, flanked by large denomination numerals '500' in each corner and at mid-left and mid-right. Scrollwork cartouches frame the design, with 'QUINIENTOS PESOS' in bold lettering along the lower border and the redemption clause in a panel beneath.
