Obverse description Conjoined busts of two male figures in high relief against a mirror-polished field: at left, the bearded effigy of Orélie-Antoine I (founder of the Kingdom of Araucanía and Patagonia) facing right; at right, the bust of Philippe (a later claimant to the throne) facing slightly left, wearing a decorative chain of office. The surrounding legend reads '150 AÑOS REINO DE ARAUCANIA Y PATAGONIA' arching along the upper border, with the commemorative date range '1860-2010' inscribed along the lower border. A fine toothed border frames the entire design.
