Obverse description Red-brown intaglio print on a fine guilloche underprint. An engraved portrait vignette of Admiral Jorge Montt Álvarez is centered within an oval frame, flanked by an oval watermark space to the left. The denomination "QUINIENTOS PESOS" and "CINCUENTA CONDORES" appear to the right of the portrait, with two manuscript signatures below — those of the Presidente and Gerente General — alongside the date 18-VIII-1943.
