Beschrijving voorzijde	Blue intaglio-printed note with an oval guilloche frame at left serving as the watermark window, and an engraved portrait vignette of General José de San Martín in military uniform at the right. The denomination "Quinientos pesos" appears in large letterpress script across the centre, with the issuing authority title across the top and the law reference and "Moneda Nacional" inscription in the lower field. Two manuscript signatures appear at the bottom, above the titles Gerente General and Presidente.

Beschrijving keerzijde	Blue intaglio-printed reverse dominated by a detailed architectural vignette of the Banco Central de la República Argentina building, rendered with fine line engraving and surrounded by elaborate foliate and scrollwork guilloche borders. An oval medallion frame at the right mirrors the obverse watermark area. The denomination "500" appears at the lower right, with the bank name inscribed beneath the building vignette.
