| Obverse description | Central depiction of the iconic ruined façade of St. Paul's Church (Ruins of São Paulo), rendered in high relief against a polished proof field. The architectural detail of the three-tiered Baroque stone frontispiece is finely engraved. Twelve five-pointed stars encircle the central motif, evocative of a laurel border.
