Obverse description Central field displays a colourised ceremonial composition in the Bhutanese Buddhist tradition, featuring two interlocked golden wedding rings resting upon a stylised lotus flower, surmounted by a multicoloured dharma wheel (dharmachakra) with swirling spiral centre, flanked by decorative cloud scrollwork, and crowned by an ornate golden tiara motif. The legend '1 OZ 999 FINE SILVER' is incused along the upper rim, while 'ROYAL WEDDING 2011' appears in raised lettering below the central device, and 'KINGDOM OF BHUTAN' is boldly inscribed along the lower rim in large raised Latin capitals.
