Obverse description Portrait of King Ugyen Wangchuck in traditional ceremonial dress and hat at right, set against an elaborate central guilloche underprint incorporating dragon motifs and ornamental latticework. Denomination numerals appear at upper left and lower right, with Dzongkha script inscriptions across the top and bottom margins. A blank watermark oval is visible at left, flanked by intricate border patterns in multicolour intaglio.
