توضیحات پشت سکه The reverse presents a modernist stylized depiction of a dove in profile, rendered in bold graphic relief against a deeply mirrored proof field, with the bird's body occupying the upper portion of the design and its sweeping tail curling elegantly to the lower left. A small teardrop symbol is incused on the breast of the dove, referencing themes of sorrow and compassion associated with human rights. The denomination 500 is inscribed in large numerals along the lower field in a clean, contemporary typeface consistent with the coin's modernist artistic style.

اطلاعات تکمیلی

Issued the same year Cyprus held its first presidential election following the 1974 Turkish invasion and the island's de facto partition, this coin belongs to a short series of Cypriot proof issues that used the Human Rights theme partly to assert international legitimacy during a period of acute political isolation. The .925 silver striking was produced in limited numbers for collector distribution rather than circulation — the Republic of Cyprus had far more pressing economic concerns than commemorative coin programs.
