The face is divided into a left-hand ruled register for annual interest payments ('Jahreszinsen sind gezahlt') with manuscript-entry lines for dates and amounts, and a central tabular interest-rate schedule ('Zinsen auf 500 M Einlage') presenting pfennig values for deposit periods of one through twelve months at rates of 3%, 3¼%, 3½%, and 4%. A narrow column of small Gothic legal text along the right margin cites the relevant statutes of the Herzoglich Braunschweigische Leihhaus dated 10 June 1892. |
