| Obverse description | Typographically bold Notgeld voucher printed in dark brown on a wood-grain textured paper ground. The denomination is stated in large display lettering as "FÜNFHUNDERT" above "500 MARK 500", with a central text block citing authorisation by the Prussian Finance Minister and the Prussian Trade Minister. The lower portion carries the serial number, a validity clause, the issue date "SIEGBURG / 15. OKTOBER 1922", an embossed city seal at lower right, and the manuscript signature of the Bürgermeister; the printer's imprint "B. KÜHLEN M.GLADBACH" appears at lower left. |
