Popis líce	The obverse presents a panoramic vignette of the Jidir Plain with the historic Khodaafarin Bridge at centre, flanked by an underprint incorporating Ophrys caucasica orchids and poppies. Two soldiers hoisting a flag atop a hilltop appear as a symbolic vignette at right, evoking the Karabakh victory. The face value numeral 500 appears at lower right, with the quoted inscription of President İlham Əliyev and the date 8 November 2020 incorporated into the design.

G+D in Leipzig has printed Azerbaijani currency since the manat's redenomination in 2006, making the relationship well-established, though commemorative issues of this type rarely see meaningful time in wallets. The watermark remains the primary listed security feature, modest for a 500-manat face value in 2021.
