Reverse description Full-length standing effigy of Sultan Sanjar, the celebrated Seljuk ruler, depicted in traditional Turkic royal attire including a feathered turban and long robe, facing slightly left with hands extended in a formal pose. The denomination '500 MANAT' appears to the left of the figure and the date '2001' to the right. The upper peripheral legend names the issuing authority and the subject, while the lower peripheral legend identifies the series as outstanding personalities of Turkmenistan. The design is rendered in fine relief on a mirror-polished proof field.
