Reverse description Full-length frontal figure of Muhammet Togrul Beg, the Seljuk Turkmen sultan (c. 990–1063), depicted in royal regalia including a crown and ceremonial robes, his right arm raised in a commanding gesture and his left hand holding a mace or scepter. The figure stands in the central field with the denomination 500 MANAT inscribed to the lower left. The name MUHAMMET TOGRUL BEG and the ethnic identifier TÜRKMEN appear as legends above the figure, while the issuing authority TÜRKMENISTANYŇ MERKEZI BANKY arcs across the upper border and the series title BEÝIK TÜRKMEN ŞAHSYÝETLERI (Outstanding Personalities of Turkmenistan) curves along the lower border. The date 2001 appears to the right of the figure.
