Reverse description Full-length standing figure of Muhammet Bairam Khan, the celebrated 16th-century Turkmen poet, statesman, and military commander, depicted in traditional robes and an ornate plumed helmet, holding an open book or manuscript in his hands. The denomination '500 MANAT' appears to the left of the figure and the date '2001' to the right. The issuer's name arcs along the upper legend in Latin script, while the series title 'BEÝIK TÜRKMEN ŞAHSYÝETLERI' (Outstanding Personalities of Turkmenistan) curves along the lower periphery. The design is executed in proof finish with a mirrored field.
