The portrait is unadorned and shows the subject in civilian dress with a suit collar visible at the truncation. A circular legend in Latin script arcs around the upper periphery, with the name SAPARMYRAT NYÝAZOW appearing along the lower arc, flanked by two laurel sprigs at the base. |
