Reverse description The bronzital centre features a left-facing draped bust of Pope John Paul I (Ioannes Paulus I), wearing a zucchetto and liturgical vestments with a decorative morse clasp visible at the shoulder. The name GIOVANNI PAOLO I is inscribed in the lower portion of the centre field. The acmonital outer ring bears the legend CITTA' DEL VATICANO along the upper arc and the denomination L. 500 along the lower arc, with the Rome mint mark R to the right and a small cross ornament to the left.
