| 背面描述 | Octagonal reverse depicting two medium-sized gold fibulae or clips from the Pietroasa treasure, displayed in upright position in high relief against a plain field. The artefacts are rendered with fine detail, showcasing the characteristic zoomorphic and geometric ornamentation of the late Roman/Gothic period goldsmith work. The legend TEZAURUL DE LA PIETROASA curves around the upper and lateral portions of the coin, identifying the depicted treasures. The composition faithfully reproduces the distinctive silhouette and decorative elements of these celebrated 4th-century gold objects. |

The Treasure of Pietroasa — discovered in 1837 near Buzău by two quarry workers who promptly broke apart several pieces before authorities intervened — is one of the most significant late Roman-period Gothic hoards ever found. The original cache of 22 gold objects was reduced to 12 surviving pieces through that initial damage and subsequent theft during the 1875 Paris Exposition, from which some items were recovered broken. The two torcque-like polyhedral clips this coin commemorates are among the hoard's more portable and least damaged survivors.
