| Beschrijving keerzijde | An architectural entablature is supported by two caryatid figures on pedestals — Justitia to the left and Abundentia-Fortuna to the right — with the denomination value inscribed in scroll cartouches on the pedestals. The entablature frieze bears a central scroll cartouche with ROMANIA, flanked by a lion protome to the left and an aurochs protome to the right. The central field presents the legal text on a panel decorated with a linear composition of cordiform elements alternating with rais de coeur, with a herma of Rome on a pedestal surmounted by a caduceus at centre, and two representations of the Capitoline Wolf to either side. |
