| Obverse description | The central field bears the full Zambian national coat of arms, featuring a shield charged with wavy lines representing the Victoria Falls, flanked by two human supporters — a man to the left and a woman to the right — each standing on a grassy ground base. An African fish eagle with wings displayed surmounts the shield, and a ribbon scroll at the base carries the national motto ONE ZAMBIA ONE NATION.
