| Reverse description | A stacked multi-line Arabic legend occupies the central field, recording the mint name (Constantinople/Kostantiniyye) and the Hijri accession year 1293, enclosed within a finely engraved laurel wreath tied at the base with a bow. The inscription reads 'Azza nasruhu, duriba fi Kostantiniyye 1293', meaning 'May his victory be glorious, struck in Constantinople 1293'. A small star appears at the apex of the wreath. The reverse composition is symmetrical and typical of late Ottoman imperial gold coinage, with the legend arranged in horizontal lines within the wreath border. |
