Obverse description Printed in grey-blue tones, the central vignette presents a farmer plowing a field with two horses, the scene framed by an elaborate ornamental border of leaves and foliate motifs. The denomination numeral 500 appears at both left and right, with the issuer name and gold-convertibility legend distributed along the upper and lower margins. The initials GH, for designer Gerhard Heilmann, are discreetly placed in the lower right corner of the vignette.

Reverse description Rendered in grey-blue tones, the reverse centres on the Danish Royal Coat of Arms, flanked by a branch of oak to the left and a branch of beech to the right, the whole composition set within a guilloche underprint framework. The denomination is stated in words and numerals in the upper and lower portions of the design.
