The prefix sequencing on this series is a known anomaly: A2 was printed before A0 and A1, meaning the alphabetical-numerical order visible in the catalog does not reflect actual production chronology. Danmarks Nationalbank's in-house printing works — which operated continuously from 1818 until its closure in 2016 — produced the entire run. This note belongs to the final years of that operation; the 2016-dated examples were among the last issues to leave the Copenhagen facility before printing responsibilities transferred externally.
The multiple signature combinations across just six years reflect routine board turnover, not reissues or policy changes.
