背面描述 The reverse presents an allegorical vignette of Bratislava, the Slovak capital, rendered in intaglio in brown and blue hues, with a view of Bratislava Castle and the cityscape in the upper left quadrant. At centre, a large celestial globe or armillary sphere alludes to the city's historical scholarly and cartographic tradition, while the Slovak coat of arms appears in the lower centre. The denomination 500 is repeated in large numerals to the upper right, and the issuer name runs vertically along the right margin.

备注

The 500 Korún (P#46) belongs to the final years of Slovak koruna issuance before euro adoption in January 2009 replaced the currency entirely. Thomas De La Rue handled the printing throughout the koruna series, a relationship that gave Slovak notes a consistency of intaglio quality unusual for a currency that ultimately had a lifespan of under two decades — the koruna was only introduced in 1993 following the dissolution of Czechoslovakia.

Václav Fajt's engraving work appears across multiple denominations in this series. The 2006 date places this note among the last substantive issues before the changeover preparations began in earnest.
