| Obverse description | Printed entirely in red on cream paper, the obverse is organized around a central guilloche-bordered panel flanked by ornate foliate scrollwork vignettes. The large denomination numeral '500' appears in bold at upper left and upper right within the panel, while the central text inscription is framed by intricate lace-like guilloche underprint.
