An engraved portrait vignette of Baroque painter Peter Johann Brandl (1668–1735) occupies the right portion of the note, rendered after his own painting of circa 1695. The bilingual (German/Czech) text of the issuing authority and legal tender provisions runs across the face, with the denomination numeral 500 repeated in the corners. |

Denomination numerals 500 appear in all four corners and along the borders. |
