The issuer legend 'BANK OF THE LAO PDR' curves along the upper periphery within a beaded border, while the fineness designation 'Ag999' and weight '20g' appear respectively at the lower right and lower left of the field. The denomination '500 KIP' is inscribed in the lower exergue.
