| 备注 |
De Curaçaosche Bank served the Netherlands Antilles through the transition from wartime occupation disruptions into the post-war Kingdom restructuring of 1954, the same year this note appeared — when the Charter for the Kingdom of the Netherlands formally redefined Curaçao and its sister islands as autonomous countries rather than colonies. A 500 Gulden denomination at that moment was serious money, unlikely to have moved through everyday trade.
Enschedé's involvement is unsurprising; the Haarlem firm had printed Dutch colonial and Caribbean currency for generations, and their intaglio work at this period was technically meticulous. Known for tight registration and durable paper stock sourced through specialist suppliers.
