| Beschrijving keerzijde | The denomination '500' dominates the center of the field in large bold numerals, with the word 'GULDEN' inscribed horizontally behind it in recessed lettering. A royal crown is positioned above the denomination at the top center. Two rampant lions flank the crown and denomination, one to the left and one to the right, referencing the Dutch coat of arms. A detailed engraving of a full-rigged Dutch sailing vessel under sail occupies the lower portion of the field. The date '2025' appears in the lower right field. |

| Aanvullende informatie |
Ottawa Civic Hospital opened in 1924 and has operated continuously through expansions that have made it one of Canada's busiest trauma centers. What this coin is doing denominated in guilders — a Dutch monetary unit with no legal tender history in Canada — is a question the issuer has not satisfactorily answered. These privately produced "fantasy" issues, struck in silver-plated base metal and assigned invented denominations, circulate only among novelty collectors and carry no monetary status under the Currency Act.
