背面描述 The Haitian National Coat of Arms is centred within an elaborate guilloche rosette, flanked by symmetrical decorative vignettes on a deep red underprint. The denomination numeral 500 appears to the right in large stylised figures, with the bank title 'BANQUE DE LA REPUBLIQUE D'HAITI' across the top, 'CINQ CENT GOURDES' along the lower panel, and the constitutional notice 'CE BILLET EST EMIS CONFORMEMENT A LA CONSTITUTION DE LA REPUBLIQUE D'HAITI' beneath. The printer's imprint 'GIESECKE & DEVRIENT MUNCHEN' is visible at the foot of the note.

备注

Haiti's 1993 500 Gourdes was issued during one of the country's more turbulent political intervals — the period following the 1991 military coup that ousted Jean-Bertrand Aristide and the international embargo that followed, which severely constrained the Haitian economy and drove significant inflation pressure on larger-denomination notes. The 500 Gourdes was, by local purchasing standards, a high-value instrument navigating a collapsing exchange environment.

Giesecke & Devrient had held the Haitian printing contract for several series by this point, supplying notes with the security thread and watermark combination that became characteristic of the republic's issues through the 1980s and 1990s. The Leipzig facility handled the work throughout.
