| Obverse description | The national coat of arms of Cameroon occupies the central field, featuring a shield charged with scales of justice and a star, supported by crossed fasces with axe heads. The bilingual motto appears above the shield in both French and English: PAIX / PEACE to the left, TRAVAIL / WORK at center, and PATRIE / FATHERLAND to the right. The date 2021 is inscribed above the arms, while the purity mark Ag 999 appears in the lower left field. The circular legend REPUBLIQUE DU CAMEROUN arcs along the upper rim, with 500 FRANCS CFA prominently displayed along the lower rim.
