The "Ten Commandments" series issued under the BEAC umbrella is a collector-targeted bullion program with no meaningful circulation history — these pieces were sold directly to the numismatic market. The BEAC, which serves six Central African nations including Cameroon, Chad, and Gabon, has increasingly used its mint authority since the 2010s to produce themed legal-tender issues aimed squarely at European and Asian collector markets rather than domestic economies.
