备注

The BCEAO 500 Francs series spanning this period reflects an unusual dual-printer arrangement: early impressions came from the Banque de France, with Oberthur taking over production from 1984 onward. The two outputs are distinguishable to specialists, though the design remained unchanged — a deliberate choice to avoid disrupting confidence in the currency across the eight member states of the West African Monetary Union.

The K suffix in the Pick reference designates Senegal as the issuing country within the BCEAO system, each member state receiving its own letter code. Amoussou served as BCEAO Governor briefly before Fadiga's long tenure reshaped the institution through the 1980s.
