| Beschrijving voorzijde | Central field features a stylized floral motif — a tulip-like bloom with a smaller flower at its base — rendered in relief against a polished background. Surrounding the central design are concentric decorative borders composed of scalloped and diamond-pattern elements, creating an ornate folk-art aesthetic. The circular legend 'REPUBLIQUE DU CAMEROUN' arcs across the upper portion of the coin, while the denomination '500 FRANCS CFA' is inscribed along the lower arc. The date '2019' appears in two parts flanking the central floral device. The overall design is inspired by Polish folk decorative traditions. |

Cameroon's collector coinage has been issued under licensing arrangements with European minting houses for decades — the country's own monetary authority plays little role in the creative or production process. This piece, part of a broader "Polish folklore" series, was almost certainly struck by a Polish private mint, a trade that has grown substantially since the 2000s as novelty numismatic products found a reliable secondary market in central Europe. The wooden insert is a manufacturing feature of that market, not a reflection of any Cameroonian cultural tradition.
