| Obverse description | The obverse features the national coat of arms of Cameroon centrally positioned in the field, depicting a shield with a balance scale flanked by crossed fasces, surmounted by a five-pointed star, and supported by decorative sprays. The circular legend reads 'REPUBLIQUE DU CAMEROUN' at the top and '500 FRANCS CFA' below it, with the bilingual motto 'PAIX TRAVAIL PATRIE / PEACE WORK FATHERLAND' flanking the arms. The date '2018' and the fineness mark 'Ag 999' with the Mint of Poland mintmark appear in the lower portion of the field. The outer border of the gold-plated bezel displays all twelve zodiac symbols in relief, forming a decorative ring around the coin proper. |
