| Reverse description | At centre, a gilt ladybird (Coccinellidae sp.) is set within a raised transparent crystal dome or circle, mirroring the obverse motif. Three additional ladybirds rendered in polychrome enamel are distributed across the field surrounding the central element, each individually coloured. The inscription 7 GOOD LUCK appears in the field, referencing the seven spots traditionally associated with good fortune on the common ladybird. |

The Bank of Central African States issues coinage on behalf of six member nations — Cameroon, Central African Republic, Chad, Republic of the Congo, Equatorial Guinea, and Gabon — under a monetary union whose franc remains pegged to the euro through an arrangement inherited from the CFA franc zone agreements of 1945. Collector issues like this one are struck outside the member states entirely, typically contracted to European mints, and bear no relationship to circulating currency in the region.
KM#75 is part of a broader BEAC nature series aimed squarely at the thematic bullion market.
