| Obverse description | The obverse presents the coin in its horseshoe-shaped form, with inscriptions arranged along the inner curve of the arc. The legend 'REPUBLIQUE DU CAMEROUN' runs along the left arm of the horseshoe, while '500 FRANCS CFA 2018 Ag 999 mw' is inscribed along the right arm.
