| Obverse description | The national coat of arms of Cameroon occupies the central field, featuring a shield bearing a balance scale beneath a star, flanked by crossed fasces with axe heads, rendered against a wavy guilloche background. The bilingual country name legend arcs around the periphery: 'REPUBLIQUE DU CAMEROUN' to the left and upper field, 'CAMEROON' to the right. The motto is inscribed in both French and English in the upper portion of the field: 'PAIX / PEACE' at left and 'TRAVAIL / WORK' at center and 'PATRIE / FATHERLAND' at right.
