| Obverse description | The national coat of arms of Cameroon is depicted centrally in the field, featuring a shield bearing scales of justice surmounted by a five-pointed star, flanked by crossed fasces. The bilingual national motto appears around the shield in both French and English: PAIX/PEACE to the left and TRAVAIL/WORK above and PATRIE/FATHERLAND to the right. The circular legend REPUBLIQUE DU CAMEROUN arcs prominently around the upper portion of the coin, with REPUBLIC OF CAMEROON implied by the bilingual inscriptions.
