| Beschrijving keerzijde | The reverse features a detailed naturalistic depiction of an adult Triceratops standing in profile, accompanied by a juvenile Triceratops in the lower foreground amid foliage, evoking a prehistoric landscape. The rendering emphasizes the dinosaur's characteristic three-horned frill and textured, scaled hide in fine relief. The curved legend 'ANIMAUX PREHISTORIQUES · TRICERATOPS ·' runs along the upper periphery, while the date '2010' is inscribed in the lower exergue. The overall composition is set within a polished proof field with a plain inner border. |

Togo has no independent monetary authority — it is a member of the West African Economic and Monetary Union, and the CFA franc is issued by the BCEAO on behalf of its eight member states. Coins bearing Togolese attribution are contract issues produced almost exclusively for the collector market, typically through European minting intermediaries. They circulate nowhere and are legal tender in name only by arrangement.
