| Obverse description | The central field displays the Cameroonian coat of arms, featuring a shield with a balance scale and star, flanked by two supporters, enclosed within a beaded inner circle. The denomination 500 FRANCS CFA and the legend REPUBLIQUE DU CAMEROUN arc across the upper field, while the bilingual motto TRAVAIL / WORK and PATRIE / FATHERLAND flanks the arms. The date 2025 appears to the lower left of the arms and the fineness mark Ag 999 to the lower right. The outer ring is decorated with all twelve zodiac signs in raised relief, separated by a double beaded border. |

| Reverse description | The reverse presents a full-figure depiction of a bull, the symbol of the Taurus zodiac sign, rendered in a vibrant, stylised artistic manner with polychrome colour application in shades of blue, orange, and purple. The bull stands before an intricate geometric "Flower of Life" mandala pattern that fills the central field. The background incorporates a detailed astronomical chart featuring constellation maps, lunar phase diagrams, and various alchemical and astrological symbols, creating a richly layered composition. The colour application contrasts dramatically against the fine engraved linework of the background motifs. |

| Additional information |
The Central African CFA franc is issued under the authority of the BEAC — Banque des États de l'Afrique Centrale — and Cameroon has no independent monetary authority of its own. Collector coins struck in .999 silver under the Cameroonian name are therefore licensed issues, typically contracted through European minting houses and sold directly into the numismatic market rather than circulated in Central Africa at any point in their existence.
KM#853 has not yet accumulated a numismatic literature trail as of this writing. Verify the contracting mint before attribution.
