| Obverse description | The national arms of Cameroon are depicted centrally, comprising a shield bearing scales of justice surmounted by a five-pointed star, supported by two crossed fasces and flanked by stylised olive branches, with a scroll at the base inscribed REPUBLIC OF CAMEROON / REPUBLIQUE DU CAMEROUN. The field is decorated throughout with a wavy guilloche pattern rendered in alternating polished and blackened relief, divided diagonally into light and dark zones. The circular legend REPUBLIQUE DU CAMEROUN runs along the upper rim, with the bilingual motto PAIX PEACE / TRAVAIL WORK / PATRIE FATHERLAND disposed around the upper portion of the arms.
